Determine whether agile, iterative models will transform your medical function

Agility has been top-of-agenda across many pharma departments for several years. However, the rise of medical affairs as a strategic function means that we too must learn to work in a dynamic way, achieving impact according to a strict tempo and with quicker, smarter decision-making. That means choosing metrics that determine whether real progress is being made, and having real-time analytics to be able to respond to those metrics.

Medical affairs does not seek to achieve profit, yet it must still seek a strong return on investment. That return might be reach, might be share of voice, might be changes to the standard of care in a given therapy. Working in the right pivot-or-persevere model based on these objectives is crucial, and the recent efforts to adopt more digital technologies will aid us in achieving this.

This workshop will help us discover how an agile model can apply to medical affairs, what we need from new metrics and analysis, how to leverage RWE, how to ensure and justify our budgets, how to gain stronger partnerships with HCPs and how to build omnichannel customer experiences that work.
